Enterprise Edition runs the same self-hosted engine as OpenSource Edition and adds capabilities from
a verified, active signed license. The license contains explicit feature names and limits; an
Enterprise deployment should not assume every commercial entitlement is present.
What Enterprise adds
Depending on the contract and signed license, Enterprise can enable:
- Mole Agent, governed Tools, automation, and Inbound MCP through
agent;
- SSO provider management through
sso;
- remote-cluster registration and federated query through
federated_search;
- organization domain management through
domain_management;
- enhanced profiling comparison workflows through
profiling_enhanced;
- commercial limits or deployment-specific capabilities included in the signed package.
Enterprise engagements can also include priority support, response commitments, security patch
backports, architecture review, onboarding, and compliance assistance. Contract terms—not this
documentation—are authoritative for support obligations.
Security model
License entitlements and IAM permissions are independent gates. For example, enabling agent does
not grant agent.use, agent.manage, or agent.approve. The request must pass organization scope,
permission, resource relationship, policy, and license checks.
Activate Enterprise
Use Enterprise license management to upload and activate an immutable signed
license version. System-scoped license operations require sys.licenses.read or
sys.licenses.manage.
