PUT /api/v1/streams/{id}/settings

The public API does not replace field types or append schema fields directly. A stream’s schema evolves as new fields arrive through intake. Use the settings endpoint to configure indexes for fields already in that schema.

Supported index types are none, exact, full_text, bloom, and skip. This operation requires streams.configure.
